KUALA LUMPUR: Parliament should have the courage to unanimously agree to raise a motion to set up a tribunal against Israel at the United Nations General Assembly.
Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said one UN member country needed to raise the motion, and this was where Malaysia could step in. He said the motion was necessary if there was to be any effective action to stop the injustice done to the Palestinians.

"The general assembly has more power than the (UN) security council and I hope they can come to a decision to help the Palestinians," he said at the Blog@1 talkshow on TV1 last night.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi earlier this week announced that there would be a special Parliament session on Monday to discuss the Gaza issue.

I think since the Isreal regime is too arrogant even to accept the UN appeal, and with their inhuman aggression against Gaza, I think we shouls labelled them and declare then as 'the Israel terrorists" rather than as 'the Israel regime'in our news bulletin. We hope that our reactions will be follwed by many countries, especially the Muslim countries. This will put pressure on Israel and also its ally, the United States, when they can labelled Iran and North Korea and various other states as the 'axis of evil'.

I suggest Malaysia(our beloved nation) to supply artillery (guns) to Hamas. We dont have to write it in the newspaper. I believe that will help our brothers a lot since Israel cannot accept any negotiations.
